Possible Recreation Inspiration?

Hey guys! So I thought I would share with you an outfit I saw that I am thinking of recreating. The picture is courtesy of Neiicey of Natural Neiicey - check out her Youtube channel!
Generally, this outfit is stylish and is one that can be dressed up or down for any occasion. The top is simple but trendy and, you may not have noticed, but it has a slight tail at the back, which makes the outfit a little more formal. The necklace is absolutely beautiful! It's bold and stands out which I believe is important because I really think that every outfit needs a focus point, whether it is a particular colour or item and the necklace is this focus point. The heels also add to the formality of the outfit and are gorgeous and definitely in - I've seen so many people sporting these strappy stilletos as of late and I think I need to be looking into acquiring a pair! The jeans really do the opposite to the outfit, that is to say, that they cancel out the formality of the top, necklace and heels by giving off a more chilled, relaxed air with the rips and worn areas in them. I would definitely wear this outfit out to dinner or to any event that requires smart/casual dressing. I personally would add a red clutch or shoulder bag to really tie this outfit together and create a focus point of red for the outfit, but it looks perfectly fine without!
So, tell me what you think, I love to hear your comments!
God bless :)

Wishlist

Right, so I said that I'd show you my wishlist and it's pretty long, so you gotta be patient! Ok guys, so I know you're gonna find it weird that I actually have a list, a LONG list of items that I want from Topman. I mean, Topman is a guys shop, right? Yeah, it is... but there are some awesome stuff in there! I mean, lets be honest, these days a lot of items in shops are unisex and I really am embracing this, because I've always found it super frustrating that guys get the BEST shirts! Am I lying? I know you agree. I have an obsession with shirts and I have come to rely on the men sections in shops to buy them! So the first Topman item is this hat.
I call it the Fresh Prince hat because it reminds me so much of something that Will Smith would have worn in Fresh Prince of Be Lair. It just has a 90s vibe to it that I really like, since I love 90s fashion and that's why it's on my wish list.

Next is this amazing tartan patch skater shirt.
I have been looking into denim patched items for a long time so I was so happy to actually find something! I think that this would look great as a shirt dress and would go well with some trainers and a cap!

Sticking with the shirt theme, I saw this shirt and fell in love instantly.
It's a monochrome flower printed shirt and I just think it has so much potential. I mean, because it's black and white, you could wear it as a shirt dress, team it with bright statement jewellery, matching knee high socks and black jelly sandals and you'd be good to go!

So that only concludes about 10% of the Topman items I seriously want, but we must be moving on to the other awesome items on this list.

I saw a lady wearing this exact jacket but in red on the 99 and I just knew I had to have one!
She had worn it with some black high waisted skinny jeans and some brown loafers and it looked great! I really think this jacket brings out a cute and playful side to any outfit and it really stands out when light hits it.

The asymmetrical floral skort is the focus here. I have been seeing these everywhere, and initially I wasn't a huge fan because I have a thing about symmetry, as in I hate things being asymmetrical, but over time these skorts have really grown on me! I think the first time I saw one was in a picture of Kylie Jenner and I'm pretty sure it was tartan, and I was attracted to the material, but hated the design. Well, doesn't matter now, I am officially a convert!

Right, culottes. Can I just say, I have been waiting for culottes, especially of this length, to come back! My sister has a black and white aztec print pair and I have borrowed them numerous times! Culottes really are trendy and this pair especially impressed me, just because of the formality of them. Usually culottes are for casual wear, you'd wear them to the beach or on a quick amble down to the shops, and the fact that this pair are made of suit material and can actually be dressed up for a party or formal event makes me very happy! What I'm looking for now, are a pair of denim ones...

Don't forget to comment and follow me! God bless!

Animalistic Qualities...

Trends. Spring/Summer 2015. Animals. Yes, animals. Many collections, such as Matthew Williamson, Roberto Cavalli, Just Cavalli, House of Holland and Baja East were all sporting many features of the diverse animal kingdom in both their men and womens  pre collections. Matthew Williamson explored the gentle, graceful nature of the butterfly, combining fragile undertones of pastel blues and pinks with bold, dynamic strokes of dark reds, royal blues and rich purples. Henry Holland brought us the jungle, presenting the irresistible charm of the snake by fusing metallic hot pinks, enticing greens and tempting blues; the superiority of the leopard with elegant latte, mocha and cappuccino shades; and the rebel of the tiger with sour outbursts of raspberry, cherry and nectarine.
Be looking out for the return of animal print and animal influenced items when you're doing your summer clothing hauls! Will you buy a leopard print jacket and look down on the peasants, buy butterfly earrings and glide through the room, or buy a tiger print skirt and start a riot? Let me know in the comments how you're going to take on animalistic qualities!
God bless :)

Beginnings

So...
Hi there! I have absolutely no idea how you found your way here, but welcome! My name is Annoa Abekah-Mensah and this (gesturing your laptop/tablet/phone screen) is my blog. This is my platform to share my style, inspiration and anything else fashion relevant that I think is important.
I'm still in school at the moment, and therefore I have absolutely no clue how frequent my posts may be, but to be on the safe side, I'm going to estimate... once a week? Or twice. Or neither. Who knows? I'm just going to let the tide carry me downstream and see what happens.
So, I'll be seeing you soon with my first official fashion post!
God bless :)
